Historic preservation has been identified as an important civic value. Federal, state and local governments created economic incentives to promote historic preservation. Arapahoe Acres homeowners may also benefits from State Historical Fund and Preservation Tax Credits
Property must be listed as federal, state or local historic landmark. Arapahoe Acres neighborhood qualifies for grant application. Applying organization must be public or non-profit. Arapahoe Acres Historic Preservation Network is a 501C-3 non-profit organization and Listed on the Historic Registry.
Applicationa goes through statewide review & rating process. If projects are worthy, grant funds are awarded.
Historic Denver, Inc., founded in 1970 by citizen sconcerned by changes to Metro Denver coalesced around desire to prevent the loss of the Molly Brown House.

Historic Denver plays an important role in supporting neighborhoods, residents, and business leaders striving to preserve architectural heritage for citizens and future generations.
Although the Network and Historic Denver are responsible for directing and managing the grant program, State Historical Fund will be available to assist upon request.
